The American Bar Association, Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section, has invited Rabih Hamawi to speak on the topic of insurable interest in property insurance policies, and the rights of mortgagees, lienholders, and other additional insureds in property insurance policies at the 2017 Spring Meeting for the American Bar Association, Tort Trial and Insurance Practice, Property Insurance Law Committee Conference in Orlando, Florida, on April 7, 2017.
The presentation will help practitioners answer the practical question of who – along with, or in lieu of, the named insured – is a rightful payee when an insurer pays a loss.
Rabih Hamawi is a Principal at the Law Office of Rabih Hamawi, P.C. in Southfield, Michigan. He focuses his practice on representing policyholders in fire, property damage, and insurance-coverage disputes against insurers, and in errors-and-omissions cases against insurance agents.
