$160,000 For a Gas Station Owner After 6oo Gallons of Gas Leaked from its Underground Storage Tanks

Updated: Jun 18, 2023

Our client owned a gas station that purchased an environmental pollution liability insurance policy that would provide pollution coverage if any of its underground storage tanks leaked oil.

After an oil leak was discovered, our client reported a claim to the insurance agent and insurance company, which denied the claim alleging that he provided late notice. We fought in court and won $160,000 for our client, where he replaced his underground storage tanks and resumed the operations of his gas station.
